Nancy has lived on the Mendocino Coast since 1968. A single Mom, she raised 2 girls who are grown now.

Always interested in art, she went back to school in 1977 and began studing wheel-thrown pottery with Bob Zvolensky. In 1980 she became a member of the Mendocino Coast Artists Assoc., a loosely-knit group which eventually became a successful gallery, Northcoast Artists in 1981.

She began having trouble with her wrists and eventually gave up the wheel for watercolors.

She took classes with Fran Moyer and Bob Rhoades through the College of the Redwoods and then struck out on her own.

Her work has been shown at Northcoast Artists, Headlands Coffeehouse, The Depot Mall, Mendocino Cafe, Piaci's, Mendocino Art Center, Betty Graubard Gallery,

Old Coast Hotel, and private shows. She has sold to people from all over Northern Ca. Nancy mainly works in water colors but uses other mediums as well and her topics are usually flowers. She is also an avid gardener, which may explain the flowers...
